Most people take the obvious photographs of the three graces and other major landmarks, but just walk along almost any street on Liverpool, and you will see the most inceredible detail in some otherwise quite ordinary buildings. Many of the older buildings, whether they be offices pubs, churches, courts or fire station were obviously built at a time when richness of architectural detail was considered more important than building at the lowest possible cost.
